RE Broker Registration
We welcome real estate broker/agent participation in our events in both Listing Agent and Buyer's Agent capacities. All agents are required to register by clicking HERE. During your registration, you will be asked additional questions depending on whether you plan to participate strictly as a Listing Agent, strictly as a Buyer's Agent or both. Requirements and Procedures pertaining to your role(s) are outlined below. Once you are registered, you will be able to login to our Broker/Agent area to 1) maintain your profile 2) if applicable, add/maintain your auction client (Bidder) list and 3) if applicable, add/maintain your auction property listings.
Requirements and Procedures for Buyer's Agents:
A commission (see event details for your event for the applicable commission rate(s)) based on the Highest Bid of the Day (HB), exclusive of costs, fees and buyer's premiums, will be paid to Brokers/Agents (i) who have duly registered as a "Registered Broker/Agent" with us online by midnight PST two days prior to the start of the Auction, (ii) who personally check-in on auction day with their client, and (iii) whose client(s) successfully purchase a property and close the transaction. THERE WILL BE NO BROKER/AGENT REGISTRATION PERMITTED ON THE DAY OF THE AUCTION.
To qualify to become a Registered Broker/Agent, you must:
1. Fully complete the Registered Broker/Agent Participation Form (found at the link at the top of this page) and bring a copy of it (printed from the website) to the Auction, together with a copy of your valid real estate license. You are required to personally check-in at the Registered Broker/Agent registration desk prior to the start of the auction. Your client must accompany you to the Registered Broker/Agent check-in table. If you are an Agent, you must also bring a letter, signed by your Broker on company letterhead, confirming your attendance at the auction with your client, which includes your broker's license number and name;
2. Inspect each Property, for which your client may bid, together with your client;
3. Identify yourself, remain with your client, and execute all necessary documentation during the entire Auction and closing process; and
4. You must sign-in on each day of the auction and identify your client at that time. Registered Broker/Agent must remain with your client throughout the entire bidding and purchase process. Registered Broker/Agent is required to sign the purchase documentation. Any Registered Broker/Agent who fails to sign the purchase documentation at the Auction shall not be entitled to compensation of any kind. Commissions will be paid upon closing. No commission will be paid to a Registered Broker/Agent acting as a principal in the purchase of any property. If you have not pre-registered and you do not check-in with your client on auction day, you will not be entitled to any commission for the sale of any auction property.
5. After your registration is submitted you will be able to access our Broker/Agent area at any time to see/maintain your profile and to add-to/maintain your auction client lists for any events.
THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THE ABOVE REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
Requirements and Procedures for Listing Agents:
1. Fully complete the Registered Broker/Agent Participation Form (found at the top of this page).
2. Once you register, you will be assigned an Auction Sales Specialist, who will be your point-of-contact with Auctions U.S.A. Your Auction Sales Specialist will meet with you, either by phone or in person, to guide you through our process, and to provide you with all of the materials you will need to get your properties ready for auction.
3. Listing Agents are required to be present on the day of any auctions at which the Listing Agent has one or more properties being auctioned. Listing Agents are also required to abide by all requirements and procedures as outlined in the documents you will receive from your Auctions U.S.A. Auction Sales Specialist, as well as our standard Terms and Conditions.
4. After your registration is submitted (and approved by your Auction Sales Specialist) you will be able to access our Broker/Agent area at any time to see/maintain your profile and to add-to/maintain your auction property listings.
